In this short video, I cover what happens when there is a reluctance to spend the necessary time to build safe spaces (or containers) for people to work together.
Diversity and Inclusion is a prerequisite for building workspace where we can leverage the power of everyone. This takes time and effort and a deep look at why people felt excluded in the first place. If we don’t do this, it is the same old status quo all over again.
This video gives a few techniques you can use to move forwards when others just want to ‘get on with the real work’, even though you know safety is the real work!

- Believe in what you are doing
- Show up as an equal
- Explicitly design spaces are better than you trying to hold them under the radar
